Help with a cover up tattoo. Any ideas people?

I HATE my tattoo, http://s194.photobucket.com/albums/z275/...

I want it covered with a new one, or the butterfly done better and then something put on the things at the side of the butterfly.

I dont really have any ideas of what I would like, so im going to check a tattoo shop to ask for his advice and opinion.

Some of these tattoos are very pretty http://s194.photobucket.com/albums/z275/...

But they seem a bit over the top with colour. I love the one in the middle with the 3 flowers, not the top one but the second one down. Does anybody have any ideas and advice to give me please?

You can add to it yourself temporarily with washable markers. Or use permanet.

no ideas i just think its a whole lot of pain................that you do not need.

the one you picked is fine...

good luck
Reply:Tattoo coverup is not a perfect science. The best thing I can tell you is to visit several artists, check out their portfolios, talk to them and see what they think is possible. The flash you like are just examples, a good artist can take a little of what you show him and make it your own. Changing colors, which you%26#039;ll have to do because your original work is very dark, moving things around, adding and deleting parts, etc. Anyway, wouldn%26#039;t you want to have something uniquely yours instead of something off the wall at a shop?
Reply:Wow. If they make you pay by the square metre, you are screwed.

They say if you are stuck in a hole the first thing to do is stop digging. Leave the bloody thing alone or be prepared to pay Big Quid to have it removed. Either way you%26#039;re better off than implanting those uggo things over it.
Reply:Well... it%26#039;s not that bad.

There are some teintee creams you can cover it with.
Reply:It is your body and if you choose to get 1000 tattoos thats your business. There are a few options - you can cover it completely or you can have layers and color added to it.
Reply:to take off a tattoo that%26#039;s real you need surgery.
Reply:Hi... hope one of theses will work out great for you!

ColorTration :: 3 Stars

鈥?Website encouraged me to purchase ColorTration Barrier Spray ($16.00) and Color Tration Lipsome Moisture Fluid ($18.00) for the modest price of $34.00.

鈥?Too many steps and a long drying time

鈥?Website recommends use of the Barrier Spray sealant, yet product should only be used for body and legs. I felt like my skin could not breath!

鈥?With sealant applied, the tattoo concealment fluid is difficult to remove at the end of the day.

鈥?No product guarantee.

Reply:Here%26#039;s a proper answer: THINK BEFORE YOU GET A TATTOO!!

Tattoos are permanent and , as such, should be significant to the wearer. If you take advice from a bunch of people you HAVE NEVER MET on an INTERNET FORUM you will just end up getting that tattoo covered, too.
Reply:Well whats wrong with it?

You could always just get the tattoo people to expand it with more of them black lines
Reply:A good tattoo artist will work with you to design a new tattoo to work with and cover your old tattoo. The one with the flowers should work very well because you should be able to use the wings of the butterfly to turn them into flower petals. Add more petals of the same basic shape to complete the flower and go on from there. Just be sure to go to a good tatto artist. There are way to many %26quot;artist%26quot; out there with fly by night operations that do hack jobs.
Reply:I dont see why yoou want to get rid of it, It looks reallii nice

But

Youu could get it lazered off or

Goo over it in black

Hannah
Reply:1. sorry you went and got a tattoo

2. The way i see it there is one logical option and many others.

The logical thing to do would be to begin laser tatto removal so you do not have a trashy tatto forever.

Or you can cover it up with some flowers.

idk what would you do....
