I'm 15 and I have a history of being a night owl (liking to stay up late) ever since I was like 8 or 9 and I used to be able to do that and look refreshed but now its catching up with me and I'm getting old people eyes. = [
They're dark and tired looking especially when I smile dear jeepers, a billion wrinkles pop up in my bags. Lol.
I just look tired ALL THE TIME even though I'm not tired at all. *sobs*

I am pretty sure the chlorine will clean it for you. Just take a normal shower when finished. Unless you were told not to get it wet you should be fine. You know you just want to show off that belly piercing!

Mix in a glass 1tsp salt with warm water (make sure it all dissolves)
Then carefully, so you don't spill it all over you, lean the glass back over you bellybutton so it forms a seal around it and the water covers your bellybutton - its best to do this where you can lie down as you need to leave it to soak for about 5 - 10 mins.
This works too if your bellybutton is infected, but if you've just had it pierced you should be doing a salt-water soak twice a day to help clean it and to help it heal...I can't believe the piercer never told you about this!

But as soon as you get out of the water, wash the area with unscented, anti-bacterial soap. Then mix 1/4 teaspoon non-iodized sea salt with 8 oz. distilled water and soak the navel in that for 3-5 minutes. You could also substitute the sea salt soak with H2Ocean spray.

No doubt you'll be much happier with this than with some stock design. Remember, if the tattooist creates a design you don't like, ask them to rework it. And don't be afraid to go to a different artist if need be!

i want to remove it but i dont want any scars and i really cant think of anything that could be this big that would look good as a cover up.......
its mostly just outlined with some blue, red and orange. i'm removing it cuz the guy that tattooed it was my cousin and now he's refusing to finish it, i'm not removing it cuz i dont like it or want it anymore so plz leave those comments to your self.

1. the skin will be romoved, and it will be like a burn, but it will heal fine, and no scaring
2. the color is only lasered out, but the clear outline will still be there, barely visible.
I used to like tat's But not anymore, after years go by, it runs together,
and now that i am a father, i don't like my daughter looking at it.

I know having a tattoo removed is very painful and also expensive. It would also be pretty hard to cover something of that size unless you want a huge eagle on your chest. Eagles work good for cover ups, but it would have to be huge. I would just recommend going to a professional and asking him/her to finish it. As far as your cousin taking credit for it, I would just tell everyone that he started it but you had to go to a pro to have it finished. I hope this helps. Good Luck !

Granted, they may have to do a little backgrounding to cover some areas, but it should do the trick... good luck!

Nope i think that would actually be real cute. I've seen people with all sorts of sleeves...some have Super Mario themed sleeves, Hello Kitty Sleeves and other stuff like that. I myself have a Picasso themed sleeve and i love it. Just make sure it's what u want and something you're passionate about tho coz it's hard to change your mind and cover up a whole sleeve lol. after i shave i have really dry legs. What should i do? I have tryed using mens shaving creme and soap but none of that works.

massage in baby oil on your legs when they're wet and pat dry with a towel. I do this to my whole body and my skin feels much softer. You can also try adding baby oil to your lotion and rubbing it on your legs.

Use ladies shave gell a lot of them are out there, The gel seems to coat better. Then be sure to use moisturizing cream afterwars. Aveeno is a good brand of lotion. Aveeno even makes a shaving gel that helps keep away dryness, Check it out at CVS/Pharmacy.

The best time to shave your legs is in the shower because the steam helps open up your pores and it softens your hair follicles. So after you wash your hair, body, etc... Use Gillette Venus shaving cream. After you are done shaving, apply some moisturizing lotion to your legs while your legs are still damp. This helps your legs absorb the lotion since your pores are still open from showering. Hope this helps :)

I rub it all over my legs and It makes them silky and smooth, and it drys soft so my legs aren't oily, they're nice :) and I don't now about anyone else, but shaving my legs almost completely wipes out the tan in them too, so putting this on after I shave adds a little bit of nice color too.

They are silicone stick on bras that increase a cup size or so depending on the thickness you want and since they stick and have a front closure, you can totally hike up the girls and smoosh em together for more cleavage effect (although you probably dont need help in the cleavage department lol)! Plus if you guys get a lil frisky it wouldn't be as embarassing as being caught with tissues and bra inserts.

This is my problem folks, i have a farmers tan, and i burn easily in the sun. My neck and forearms, and my legs are starting, too. They're tan and everything else is a fair white. I heard tans fade away, is this true?
If i go outside when the sun is out should i wear sunblock and long sleeve shirts and pants? I am trying to stay indoors as much as possible and away from sunlight so my skin can heal and can turn white again.
well my question is, How long will it take for my skin to be back to its normal color and what can i do/use to help it heal faster?
p.s. i have nothing against different colored races, its just that fair whitish pale looks better on me. LOLS. i have gold blonde hair and green-grey eyes, what do you expect? -_-

He said they were infectious cysts and gave me antibiotics and (Thank God) I haven't had any since.
Lots of other skin anomolies can look like this though... in any case, if they are red and filled with puss, you can almost GUARANTEE they are painful... so take your baby to the pediatrician ASAP so you can begin treatment and stop the pain as fast as possible.

Tongue piercing.. tongue length...?
sooo i was one of those people who were born with a short tongue.. unluckily for me. an iv wanted my tongue pierced since i was like 15. im 18 now.. but anyway.. i keep hearing the length of your tongue has to be like an inch long from the webbing or whatever.. but i tried mesuring.. an from the webbing my tongue is only like 12 or 13 mm long.... so yeah.. im guessing thats not long enough.. but i dont know.. so im asking you people.. any help would be heaps nice :)

I have that issue too, and couldn't get the Venom, which I really wanted- but was able to get just a single traditional tongue piercing.

What body sunscreen is best to wear under clothing and is non-oily? Something to go from day to night?
I am a bartender at an outdoor lounge in sunny Southern California. During the afternoon, I work shirtless then when it turns to evening 2/3s of the way through my shift, I tend to throw on a shirt. My problem is I have yet to find a sunscreen that I can apply during the day in the sun that I can then throw a shirt on when it gets dark without it stinking up the shirt or making it all greasy. I have to launder my shirts every night because of this. I have tried many different "light" sunscreens yet they are all too oily and shiny still. Even Neutregena's "Ultra Mist" which claims to be ultra light and weightless, leaves a thick shiny layer on my skin that looks like I oiled myself during the day and then at night makes me feel gross to throw a shirt over. I am hoping for a solution that is reasonably priced since I go through one of those sunscreen bottles every week and a half so it would get very expensive quickly. It also needs to be non-comedogenic as I break out easily.

Ok i am going on this cruise this summer and i am 14, and i wanted to look good. And my skin just wont tan naturally so i thought about getting a spray tan. But i wanted to know if it looks natural or if it makes you look orange. if it matters i have red hair and freckles. please help me.

The ones in the cans are hard to do yourself and you have more of a chance in it turning out bad if you do it yourself. Go to somewhere they spray it on you. You need to get one that is pink based. That way no matter what it won't turn out orange. Because you have red hair and pale skin you should get a medium or light tan and obviously not the darkest shade it comes in. When you go to get your spray tan either wax, or shave you legs the day before. If you shave your legs the same day as your spray tan, the tan will go into your hair follicles and it will have these spray tan tiny dots all over your legs. Also exfoliate your skin as much as you can. Also some spray tans react with under arm deodorant...and makes it turn green. So also don't wear deodorant when you get your spray tan. Also you shouldn't shower for 12 hours after your spray tan, because it won't be completely set into your skin. I'd get the spray tan 2 days before your trip. Even though you are pale i'd get medium tan. It will look dark, but the next day it will settle into your skin more and fade more by the time you go on your trip. And when you have a shower moisterize your skin afterwoods and to dry your skin, pat dry it with a towel to avoid wiping off your tan. If you follow all these tips your tan should look natural and great!

I am in my 20's and lately my skin has been freaking out on me. I am having breakouts more frequently and my pores seem bigger. I have tried a few different products and nothing seems to help. This product will not and I mean it, it will not dry you skin! They also sell a cleanser called Skin Refining Cleanser with contains polybeads that help to clean out pores for oily skin and remove dead skin cells of dry skin!

Reply:I have combination skin as well and i have tried almost EVERY DAMN PRODUCT and it made it worse. I've tried from drug store brands right through to Clinique 3 step program. The drug store products were too heavy for me (the creamy ones like St. Ives) and Clinique 3step was great for a month and then my face started breaking out and turning greasy YUK!. Anyway i ditched all that and i got myself a Neutrogena skin clearing cleanser (a foaming one because I've found they're the best for my combination skin - hence not too heavy). I wash my face with water ONLY in the morning and i do my cleansing at NIGHT and it's made a big difference because i used to cleanse twice a day and my face went flaky. I also got a MAC Micro refinisher which i use every 2-3rd day to massage my face and it gets rid of my blackheads. You can also make a face scrub at home which is good because it's all natural products and not toxic/chemical ones.
Just mix honey and brown sugar and it's an instant exfoliant :)) Good Luck.
EDIT: I really really hope women all over wake up one day and realize that all these cleansers and toners and moisturizers that claim to do wonders are only making it worse. Seriously, think about it, back in the days people didn't have all these fancy smancy products and their skin was clear because they used home made, basic products. And frankly, why use a product where you can't even pronounce half of it's ingredients?

Reply:I have combination skin as well and i have tried almost EVERY DAMN PRODUCT and it made it worse. I've tried from drug store brands right through to Clinique 3 step program. The drug store products were too heavy for me (the creamy ones like St. Ives) and Clinique 3step was great for a month and then my face started breaking out and turning greasy YUK!. Anyway i ditched all that and i got myself a Neutrogena skin clearing cleanser (a foaming one because I've found they're the best for my combination skin - hence not too heavy). I wash my face with water ONLY in the morning and i do my cleansing at NIGHT and it's made a big difference because i used to cleanse twice a day and my face went flaky. I also got a MAC Micro refinisher which i use every 2-3rd day to massage my face and it gets rid of my blackheads. You can also make a face scrub at home which is good because it's all natural products and not toxic/chemical ones.
Just mix honey and brown sugar and it's an instant exfoliant :)) Good Luck.
EDIT: I really really hope women all over wake up one day and realize that all these cleansers and toners and moisturizers that claim to do wonders are only making it worse. Seriously, think about it, back in the days people didn't have all these fancy smancy products and their skin was clear because they used home made, basic products. And frankly, why use a product where you can't even pronounce half of it's ingredients?

i was thinking of getting a tattoo today cuz my mom FINALLY agreed on a couple ideas. i was thinking of getting a little star in my ear(beside the place you get your cartilage piercing). or i was thinking a skull and wings on my lower back above my @$$ crack.LOL. its gonna look like the avenged sevenfold band logo skull.

You have to NOT TOUCH IT for a long time. True story: I had plucked a hair from the inside of my nose, it came back ingrown, and ended up coming out the other side backwards!

Then in the morning, take a look and see if you can see the little dot of where the hair is, and if you can get a pair of really sharp pointy tweezers and try to pull it out. You can also try pushing (gently) with your fingers around the area to encourage the hair to come out so that you can pluck it.
But if it isn't cooperating, then you just have to wait another day to see how it is and then try again. In the meantime, if it looks inflamed, you might want to consider putting some neosporin on it.
Reply:Let it heal (the crater you dug, that is). It should take a week, but you don't want to make it any deeper, cause brusing or worse yet a tremendous scab. This will only make it more noticeable. After it heals, use a hot wash cloth and hold it on the affected area. This will open your pore better and may even draw the hair upwards closer to the surface of the skin. See if you can get some tweezers and try to pull the hair out that way. You sure it's an ingrown hair? Not a blackhead or something? If the washcloth/tweezer thing doesn't work, see a dermatologist.

If this is in fact folliculitis, and you continue to pick you're going to spread the bacteria/fungus to other hair follicles on your face and maybe body.

I think the problem with tattoos nowadays is not about the design itself anymore, its more on how we want it to be exactly, without the tattooist getting confused or getting the wrong ideas about what we want to get.
If you are able to relate the design to him well and in details. I think any tattoos would turn up just fine, or at least, you left the parlour with no regrets.
Tattoos is about expressing yourself and making a statement out of yourself. It is a beautiful thing. And especially if its related to your careers, that just shows how passionate you are towards it.

After nursing my daughter for 10 months, my breast really took a fall for the south. My ob/gyn told me it would take about a year until they turn back to near normal position because I'm young. But it doesn't look like it's been improving. Is there any way to enhance my breasts to get them back perky again? Besides Surgery?

Tanning bed burned me. How long before I can go again?
I went to the tanning salon the other day. I am fair skinned and have not tanned at all this year. So the young lady there suggested I only go for 6 min. Well after I left, and settle at home for the day I noticed my back was red!!! It doesn't hurt and has already started to fade alittle (since its the following day). It wasn't a bad burn but it is burned none the less. I have unlimited tanning for the next month and want to use it and get my moneys worth also I am in a wedding in about 2 and 1/2 weeks. I don't need to be dark. Just not blindingly white. Also I want to avoid burning and peeling that might come. Any advice on dealing with how often and how long to go? Also I usually just lie still in the bed. My friends told me it is best to move around. Any truth to that. Thanks for any advice you can give.

Only you can stop you biting your nails. I bit mine for years until I saw a photo of a hand model in a handcream commercial. I looked at my hands and thought it looked disgusting so wanted to have nails like the hand model. After a few slips here and there I do now have better nails than her! Reply:well i sometimes bite my nails but when i get a manicure they make your fingernails really nice and clean and then i dont bite them because the nail polish tastes bad and i dont want to ruin them. it may also be because your mouth gets "bored" and it needs something to do. you should probably try chewing gum or sucking on jolly ranchers. pharmacies have this special non biting/sucking fingers nail polish ( i've heard of it be never seen it). i really don't know how well these things will work for you cuz its all in your mind if you want pretty fingers but i got braces so i cant bite my nails anyways.

P.S. i could also tell you that the dirt under your fingernails is actually feces (poo)!! that scares some some people from biting :)

No reason to numb it, it didn't hurt too bad. Be careful when you get dressed %26amp; when you sleep, snagging a piercing hurts.

Reply:It feels like a slight pinch. Numbing it with ice is pointless.. It doesnt hurt too much.. i mean you feel it but its not painful if you say you have a high pain tolerance.. Also.. eyebrow piercings are prone to infection because your eyebrows are there to keep dust particals out of your eyes.. so just be careful.. also sea salt soaks three times daily.. and since you will most likely have a hoop for the first month or so.. if you find it starting to heal to the hoop use a little bit of tripple antiotic ointment on the hoop n move it around a bit.. Also.. DONT TOUCH IT as much as you want to.. dont do it.

Reply:on the day itself make sure you eat breakfast - it is best to do it in the morning, as the body would deal with it best.
The summer is not great time to get piercing - too much bacteria and polen in the air - these irritants go significantly down with the colder air - as someone else said, eyebrow is quite hard to heal.
Do not try to numb the area, so not worth it. Get the full experience! When you use the salt water, use boiled water which is still very warm (not scaldingly hot) it helps to kill the bacteria. Do not overdo it with the cleaning - twice a day is fine. If you get infection, some people use Tea Tree Oil. to help it turn you can apply Vitamin E - buy capsules and cut them in half, get the oil on a cotton pad and apply. Also helps if you get scar tissue growing.

No reason to numb it, it didn't hurt too bad. Be careful when you get dressed %26amp; when you sleep, snagging a piercing hurts.

Reply:It feels like a slight pinch. Numbing it with ice is pointless.. It doesnt hurt too much.. i mean you feel it but its not painful if you say you have a high pain tolerance.. Also.. eyebrow piercings are prone to infection because your eyebrows are there to keep dust particals out of your eyes.. so just be careful.. also sea salt soaks three times daily.. and since you will most likely have a hoop for the first month or so.. if you find it starting to heal to the hoop use a little bit of tripple antiotic ointment on the hoop n move it around a bit.. Also.. DONT TOUCH IT as much as you want to.. dont do it.

Reply:on the day itself make sure you eat breakfast - it is best to do it in the morning, as the body would deal with it best.
The summer is not great time to get piercing - too much bacteria and polen in the air - these irritants go significantly down with the colder air - as someone else said, eyebrow is quite hard to heal.
Do not try to numb the area, so not worth it. Get the full experience! When you use the salt water, use boiled water which is still very warm (not scaldingly hot) it helps to kill the bacteria. Do not overdo it with the cleaning - twice a day is fine. If you get infection, some people use Tea Tree Oil. to help it turn you can apply Vitamin E - buy capsules and cut them in half, get the oil on a cotton pad and apply. Also helps if you get scar tissue growing.

take a bath with baking soda, it helps keep the tan longer. and also do not wear make up, oils, lotion. It is easy. o and cover your face! like with a towel, or if you dont want to than cover your eyes at least

Wow, you're lucky. Most people have the opposite problem and aren't able to tan their legs as fast as the rest of them.
The best thing you can do for your face is use a facial tanning lotion with a bronzer in it. On your chest you can use a lotion with a low tingle in it but only use it on this area, your face is too sensitive for a tingle. Go to your local tanning salon and tell them your problem and the tanning consultant should be able to pick out the correct lotions for your problem.

My Friend is a tatoo artist, and the best way to care for a tatoo is definitely not get it wet for 1 week, but put savlon cream on it every day for a week! This stops it drying out too quickly and keeps the colour!! When it does get a bit scabby, do not pick it or scratch it, but put more savlon on to stop the itching! Hope this helps.

Reply:my dad is a tattooist, i also have tattoos! the best after care is petroleum jelly (vaseline) and to of course, keep it clean. so many people say dont wash etc, that is so wrong, its an open wound, it needs to be washed daily with a mild soap to get dirt and bacteria away. dont itch, and when it scabs do not pick the scab... it will discolour your tat. good luck, hope this helps...xx

Reply:i'm covered in tattoo's and i always wash as normal pat the area dry then put savlon on it, DO NOT PUT VASELINE ON IT AS IT STOPS THE TATTOO FROM SCABBING,every good tattooist would tell you that. and keep doing that, it will get itchy once it scabs but thats it healing just keep putting the cream on it.

Just curious, is it ok for men to use facial care targeted for women, or should they use stuff made specifically for men? Do the ingredients really matter, or is it a marketing strategy?

The basic ingredients of something, be it moisturiser, shaving foam or shower gel, will remain similar, as they're all meant to do the same job! At home, with the exception of cleanser and individual scent preferences or skin needs, my parents and I all use the same shampoo, shower gel and shaving gel (and even though I'm a girl, I often borrow my dad's "manly" stuff!).
I think it's more a question of how much your mates would laugh at you if the contents of your bathroom cabinet looked "girly", and whether this bothers you at all!

Well your breasts are still developing so I would steer away from an underwire - which would affect growth. You can get padded bras that aren't underwired and are way more confortable than underwired bras. The purpose of underwired bras is to keep your breasts in place, but for small developing breasts, I don't think you'll need it just yet!
Reply:I'm a 36 a and I feel your pain. I wore underwires for the longest, and I didn't like padded ones because I didn't want big fake boobs ("False advertising"). I finally found a great bra. It's by maidenform (JC Pennys) and they don't have underwire and are padded enough to keep from nipping yet are naturally shaped. I love them!!!

Go to the bra department at dillards. There are women there whos job is to measure you and fit you to the exact bra you need. Even if it is too expensive, at least then you know what you are looking for for your body type.

However you are after all 11 years old and at that age comfort should be more of a priority so stick to non-underwired but slightly padded (so as to cover up ur nipples) bra
