no it didn't hurt. If you had a sun burn then itched it, it kinda felt like that. It's more annoying than painful.

I have a tattoo that starts on my ankle and goes around to my foot. Personally, some of it hurt but most of it was very tolerable and not really that painful. Higher up on my ankle and lower down on my foot were probably the most painful areas but still not really that bad. The outline was probably the worst and maybe got up to a 6 on a scale of 1-10 but the shading was mainly like a 4.
Reply:I have a tattoo on the inside of my right foot right below my ankle bone and it did not hurt at all. It was my first and only tattoo so I dont have much to compare it with but you should be fine! Just make sure you dont wear shoes, stick to sandles that dont rub the tattoo for a few days and make sure you use the lotion! Good luck!
Reply:I have one above my left ankle bone. I'd give it maybe a 5 or 6, but then a 7 or 8 when it went over the bone.
Reply:well im 16[ i know i know too young for a tat blah blah] and i have one on my right ankle. when i went ot get it done i was a bit nervous but honeslty it doesnt hurt. for me personally it was like a three and like a 4 when they went over the bone. its nothing u cant handle and after a while the area got kind of numb for me so i couldnt really feel it. umm to put a range on how much pain i can handle since each person has diff levels i have been hit by 60mph pitches and i dont really feel them =]
Reply:The tattoos on my ankles didn't hurt. However, the one on my foot was a different story. It was my most painful tattoo. The pain wasn't unbearable though, but it was painful. It depends on your pain tolerance though. My friend could barely walk the next day after she got her foot tattooed, but I was able to put on heels and walk fine. It just depends on your body. I would get another foot tat though, so I guess it wasn't too painful. :-)
