haha okayy :D because i have pierced my bellybutton like five times with a safety pin already, i'm going to say u can do it by yourself with some deep cleaning rubbing alchahol and a safety pin..be careful because it will hurt. so be prepared..also if it isn't done professionaly, it will get infected a LOT easier..if you do decide to do it, be sure to pour rubbing alchohol on it every two or ther hours..maybe every hour for the first two weeks or soo..as far as convincing your sister? be creative. threaten her. give her something she wants. also, love be careful because your mum might find out. best of luck and if u have any other questions email me: xmusicinmysoulx@yahoo.com. good luck sweetie:D

I won't tell you not to do it %26amp; I am surely not wasting my time!!! I will tell you if anyone does this without parental consent they are breaking the law. If they are willing to break the law for a few bucks, I am sure they would have no problem using dirty needles and equipment to pierce you with. You can contract Hepatitis, HIV, etc...Look up MRSA on the Internet. It CAN kill you. If you are willing to risk you life go ahead-I wish you wouldn't. Also, these take 9-12 months to heal. If you are going to be irresponsible on how you get it pierced, you surely will be irresponsible with the aftercare...The biggest part is sea salt soaks 4-6 times a day for a minimum of 4 months up 12 months. Bad freaky things DO happen!!! You only live once. Be safe and make only smart choices.
Reply:Your sister can't take you.

If you're under 18, you need to take a parent or guardian with you and both you and your parent needs to bring ID. You may even have to bring your birth certificate.

So having your sister take you won't work.

Maybe you should have done your research.
Reply:I would not trust any place that would allow your sister to be your "legal guardian" (which is what you need to be to take someone to get something pierced)

If your mom doesn't want you to do it, just wait. I did it myself when I was 14. i had it for a month or two, but then my body reject the piercing and pushed the ring i had in out. It was super gross! there was puss and oooz everywhere. It was so infected, and i HAD to tell my mom. She was livid and took me to the doctors immediately. It healed, and i'm fine now, but i had so much scar tissue build up (which is permenent around the navel), and had to get the bottom of my navel pierced when i went and got a done a year ago (at age 19).

PLEASE DON'T DO IT YOURSELF

(plus, if you are tempted, notice that the girl above said she has done it herself FIVE times and it is PAINFUL. You should question why she's had to do it five times!)

Good luck trying to get it done. If you do find a place, just make sure they keep everything clean.
