How to reduce appearance of Keratosis A-K-A Chicken Skin?
For anyone who knows how to treat or reduce the appearance of it please help. I%26#039;ve tried many expensive and cheap lotions and soaps specifically for Keratosis, but there%26#039;s little to no improvement at all.
I doubt it, but would a chemical peel work on this kind of a skin problem? Serious answers please.

What are the bumps on my arms? How can I fix my hair problem?
So quite a while ago when i was a naive toddler I was taking a shower and saw my older sisters razor.
So, I took it and went on a shaving spree shaving random areas some that didn%26#039;t even have hair.
During that spree I shaved my arms.
Now, I regret doing that because the hair on my arms is darker than it is supposed to be.
Recently, I have been putting Nair on my arms so that you can%26#039;t see the ugly hairs but I have noticed that I get these bumps on my arms afterward.
There are not very many, probably about eight on each arm.
And they aren%26#039;t red like zits.
They are bumps that are skin colored.
I was thinking that they are ingrown hairs.
What do you think they are?

But I mean if you still want MAKE sure he marks the spot on your tongue and make sure you like the spot he marked. Also, I had my eyebrow done, those are pretty cool.

Reply:Well, with any tongue piercing, you%26#039;re gonna have difficulty with talking for awhile, regardless of the size of your tongue. When you go into the shop to get pierced, the piercer will be able to tell you if they can pierce your tongue or not. It%26#039;s not really a matter of size as it is how much tongue you have on the end that is not connected to the webbing underneath (if that makes any sense). If you have too much webbing, the piercer will not be able to pierce through it. If you are able to get it pierced, however, I%26#039;d recommend drinking a slurpee right after and sticking to cold things to keep the swelling down. It%26#039;ll feel weird eating with it in for awhile, as it%26#039;ll be difficult to tell what%26#039;s food and what%26#039;s your piercing, but you%26#039;ll get the hang of it. Also, make sure you rinse after every meal with a non-alcoholic mouthwash (not Listerine unless you%26#039;ve diluted it with water) to clean it, and don%26#039;t drink any alcoholic beverages until it%26#039;s healed, as alcohol irritates the piercing. I only had difficulty speaking with mine for the first two days, but the swelling didn%26#039;t go down completely for a week.
As for the other facial piercing, I%26#039;m not entirely sure as I haven%26#039;t seen your face, but my personal favorites are snake bites and nostril hoops.

im a 13 year old, (the 28th of june i turn 14) with brown eyes, red hair, and pale pale skin! its very annoying during the summer when the swim suit%26#039;s come out and everyone is like, %26quot;damn....... your sooooo white!%26quot; it gets old! I would just die for a little color.

Hello, i am currently 16 years old and basically the other day i bought NO7 microdermabrasion exfoliator and i used it once a week for about 2 weeks it was all good however around my nose area i had this blackhead dat was really annoying me so i put a little bit of the exfoliator and i think i done it too vigorously because it was red i fought that would go away the next day i woke up and my skin was peeled off and i went to the doctor she said the top superficial layers has come off and that i should wait for a scab 2 form and it should form and new skin should start growing in about 10 days. It has been about 4 days now the scab has come off and i think the new skin is there but its pinky so do you know when my skin will turn back to normal i mean to my normal skin colour , white... please help as im very curious about this.. im using savlon antiseptic cream and i havent even picked or hardley touched the wound and scab will i still scar:( please help

5 minutes? its usually 15 minutes even when you are starting. and also tanning beds cause cancer as fast as ciggerettes.

They%26#039;re not the skanky, skin tight kind of tube tops, and they%26#039;re very pretty, however, I look like the incredible (untoned) hulk when I see pictures of myself wearing them. I%26#039;m afraid to tone my arms because I don%26#039;t want them to get bigger. Would toning them make them bigger? I wanted to get a single lip ring on my bottom lip, to the left.
I want to get it done early summer so it can heal before school [since i%26#039;m not supposed to have it in at school].
Summer is about 2 - 2 1/2 months long for me.
Would i be able to take it out during school hours without it closing up? [Approximately 6 hours a day.]

Of course, it all depends on your pain tolerance and the location of the tattoo. Try taking a safety pin and scratching your skin repeatedly with it (not so much that it bleeds, but so you can feel it). That%26#039;s pretty much what it felt like for me. Also, if you%26#039;re afraid of needles, definitely bring someone or something to distract you while you%26#039;re getting tattooed, if it%26#039;s in a spot you%26#039;ll be able to see.

I may have a high tolerance for pain, but I dont think the needle is all that painful to anyone...except maybe on a bony part of the body. Enjoy getting ink, its addictive.

Strangely enough, we are the same way. You cook us in a bed, we will burn. So lather up with that lotion, none of us wants wrinkles or cancer.

exfoliant - 2-3 times a week.. we get dead skin cells.. help remove some of it. dead skin cells can lead to dull looking skin.. plus it helps keep pores clear, so good for preventing acne.
scrub- same thing as an exfoliant.. just another word for exfoliant..
get a ph balance cleanser.. and a scrub to use twice a week.
but i would also get a moisturizer depending on you skin type, but its not necessarry..

Exfoliator- It basically removes a layer of dead skin cells. It%26#039;s good to exfoliate because the top, dead layers are damaged, hence why you have wrinkles, sun spots, scars, etc. Getting down to new healthy skin cells will make your skin glow and so forth. There%26#039;s many different ways to exfoliate your skin. You can do it by simply using a washcloth while cleansing your face. However, be sure not to rub too hard. Using your fingertips exfoliates very lightly. I prefer, and suggest, that you just buy an exfoliating mask to use twice a week.
Scrub- A scrub is a substance that has tiny granules in it. It exfoliates, or removes a layer of dead skin cells. I would stay clear of cheap-o scrubs such as St. Ives Apricot Scrub. Cheap scrubs contain granules that are triangular in size which can cause microscopic tears in your skin that can fill up with dirt and oil. And then make you break out, more. Really, you don%26#039;t need to use a scrub if you%26#039;re using an exfoliating mask. They do the same thing.
You should in the morning:
Cleanse.
Tone.
Moisturize. (Avoid hand lotions as well as scented moisturizers.)
Then apply an sunscreen of an SPF of your choice.
At night:
Cleanse.
Tone.
Then use an exfoliating mask twice a week.
Moisturize.

I use Dove and I love it! There are other good ones too, you should use the products depending upon your skin type, normal, oily, sensitive or combination. It%26#039;s better not to buy any from Clean and Clear since it dries out your skin.

Exfoliator- It basically removes a layer of dead skin cells. Cheap scrubs contain granules that are triangular in size which can cause microscopic tears in your skin that can fill up with dirt and oil. And then make you break out, more. Really, you don%26#039;t need to use a scrub if you%26#039;re using an exfoliating mask. They do the same thing.
You should in the morning:
Cleanse.
Tone.
Moisturize. (Avoid hand lotions as well as scented moisturizers.)
Then apply an sunscreen of an SPF of your choice.
At night:

It might look healed but have not joined in the middle yet.

ok so im 14, and i dont believe i have ever been fat or am fat now ; im 5%26#039;2 and i weigh about 105lbs. ive just noticed what i think looks like little stretch marks around my butt, some small but dark little random ones on the inside of my right thigh and im beginning to noticed really faint ones on the inside of my knees. now ive noticed many girls my age with really large dark stretch marks in between their knees aswell, but they arent fat nor have ever been fat. they%26#039;re really beginning to get me down, and i just want to know why i have them, if i can get rid of them and how to prevent them?

I am now 26 and did get them again but due to children, but started to use baby oil which done exactly the same job as the bio oil but much cheaper.

Also you might try tanning in a tanning bed. Im not sure if that will help any..

Take a good look at the products you%26#039;re using daily. Do you use a moisturizer? If so, look to see if it contains any SPF. This would be the obvious answer. Also, most makeup products contain some amount of SPF, so look into that as well.
If anything, this is good! Means less wrinkles in the long run. Go ahead and use a bronzer to even out the color difference between your face and body.

This is a clear flexible material that some piercers are using for starter jewelry i have a post for my lip that the actual post is clear but the gem on the end just pops in and out, something like that would be a good option for healing because you can keep the post in and just pop the gem off for work then it would be like wearing a retainer.

My plugs (1") are a bit uneven and I'm wondering if I could get them scalpelled to even them out?

They usually have hydroquinone in it. That%26#039;s the key active ingredient that actually gives you the desired results.
