I need HONEST Opinions about TATTOO'S?

I%26#039;m getting my first tattoo, but i really want to know if it hurts.

It does hurt, but not terribly. I was terrified when I got mine, but I am now thinking about getting another one.


It depends where you get it and everyone is different.


Near the bone I heard hurts.

Eww... i hate tatoos. i like percings! yeah, it hurts, but i think they put some thing where u cant feel anything

Reply:i dont like needles either and i have a lip piercing and a tattoo on my shoulder blade. for me the piercing was worse due to the needle and i am totally addicted to getting tattoos it was fabulous. i want to get another one but i dont want to over do it. i mean it doesn%26#039;t hurt as bad as some people say it does depending on where you get it but its more annoying or irritating than painful. good luck. you should post a pic of what u are getting tattooed.

what you need to do is realize all the possiblities. what you should o is get a fake tattoo first thing, and se if you like it. then you can make the final desicion on if you really want the tattoo

Reply:yep...it hurts. But, you can%26#039;t even see the needles, they are like hidden in the machine, it%26#039;s just the points. You will be fine! It hurts for awhile, but the results are worth it. Lots of people who have tattoos are afraid of needles, but like I said, you can%26#039;t even see them in the tool that they use. Good luck!! EDIT: OMG!!!!!! I love that sparrow!!!! it%26#039;s so cool, it%26#039;s like amazingly pretty. when I saw that it was going to be a sparrow, I was like %26quot;wow...that%26#039;s original%26quot;, but than I saw the design and it%26#039;s gorgeous!!!! O yeah, you will be glad you got that one :)

Reply:I%26#039;m not gonna lie to ya. It does hurt. But it%26#039;s not an unbearable pain.For me it wasmore of an annoyance than a %26quot;Oh-my-god-when-will-it-end%26quot; kind of pain. Of course, it all depends on your pain tolerance and the location of the tattoo. Try taking a safety pin and scratching your skin repeatedly with it (not so much that it bleeds, but so you can feel it). That%26#039;s pretty much what it felt like for me. Also, if you%26#039;re afraid of needles, definitely bring someone or something to distract you while you%26#039;re getting tattooed, if it%26#039;s in a spot you%26#039;ll be able to see.

EDIT: That tattoo design is gorgeous! I love traditional sparrows, and that stylized look is sooooo pretty.
Reply:it hurts. But not crazy insane pain that lasts forever. Remember it IS really pain and expensive to get one removed.
Reply:Hell yes it does hurt! Okay I%26#039;m excagerating. I didn%26#039;t think it hurt but then again It%26#039;ll depend whether or not your skin is sensitive and such. If anything it just feels like a pinch a really weak pinch.
Reply:Go in there imagining the worst pain possible, that%26#039;s what I always do and then it doesn%26#039;t seem so bad :) Tattoo%26#039;s are totally bearable and worth the pain in my opinion. But be careful they are addicting!!





Oh and I am super scared of needles too.. It%26#039;s not bad, be tough :D
Reply:I have 27 tattoos and the only one that hurt is on the lower back. I find getting ink kinda relaxing..the hum of the needle soothing. I may have a high tolerance for pain, but I dont think the needle is all that painful to anyone...except maybe on a bony part of the body. Enjoy getting ink, its addictive.
