Double tongue piercing an nip question ?
Your piercer may want to switch you to a longer bar on your existing piercing if you get pierced again. This is because your whole tongue may decide to swell in response to the new piercing, and jewelry that is too tight in the first piercing may injure you or at least be uncomfortable. You can change both barbells back to whatever length fits best once your swelling has gone down.

Nipples take between 6 months and a year to heal. The absolute wildly fastest healers might get them healed in 3 months. Most people are really beginning to heal at 3 months, are nearly back to normal at 6 and completely healed between 7-a year.

Durring this time your nipples will need special attention including daily washing and protection from being bumped. You can expect weeks of lymph and crust formation, so you will need to be very careful about cleaning and avoiding moving the jewelry by accident. I%26#039;ve met very few people who didn%26#039;t feel the work was worth the reward, but it is a bit of work for a very long time. If you%26#039;re not a patient person, nipple piercings may not be for you. You will need to at least rinse your piercings daily in the shower for as long as you choose to wear them to keep them healthy even after they are healed.
