I have a bachelors degree in fine arts (Painting) and I am interested in working on tattoos. How do I get an apprenticeship?

they are very hard to get onto. just ask every tattoo shop you come across if they will be willing to take you on. or, you could buy some tattoo equipment and teach yourself.

Impossible, as a tattoo is a body drawing that people of low IQ get done to themselves and not a line of work.
Reply:Well, you don%26#039;t really need a degree in anything to be a tattoo artist, although I%26#039;m sure that%26#039;ll help. Build a portfolio of your artwork if you haven%26#039;t already, and take it with you to go to a few tattoo shops. Talk to artists at the shops, look at their portfolios. If you find someone whos work you really admire, ask them if they%26#039;ll take a look at your portfolio, and ask if they%26#039;re willing to take on an apprenticeship. Most artists will charge you for apprenticing. Not all will, but it has become pretty standard these days. It helps to have tattoos yourself as well. Not many people would trust someone to tattoo them that has bare skin.

The sites in my sources have tons of tips on finding a good apprenticeship. Good luck!
