Why wont my face tan but the rest of my body will?

it doesnt matter how long im in the sun or what i use..like tanning oils. nothing seems to work for my face is there anything that will help me get a tan on my face..


i dont want to fake tan..


any info will be greatly appreciated!!!

Hmm thats really odd. I like always get burned on my face. tanning oil really wokrs for me, so im not sure what your problem is. I%26#039;ve heard that people use vegatable oil..which kinda %26quot;cooks%26quot; you, i%26#039;ve never tried that because its sooo damaging,...But i guess if your realky desperate for a tan face you could try it.. Also you might try tanning in a tanning bed. Im not sure if that will help any..

Don%26#039;t put tanning oil on your face - that%26#039;s just asking for a bunch of little break outs.





Take a good look at the products you%26#039;re using daily. Do you use a moisturizer? If so, look to see if it contains any SPF. This would be the obvious answer. Also, most makeup products contain some amount of SPF, so look into that as well.





If anything, this is good! Means less wrinkles in the long run. Go ahead and use a bronzer to even out the color difference between your face and body.

I tan on my body better than on my face though


I don%26#039;t know but I don%26#039;t think you can change it unless you get a fake tan
Reply:Bath and Body works has a great self tanner made for faces so it wont clog pores (I have the same problem and I know it sucks)! But the other thing you should do is make sure to exfoliate you face a few times a week to stop dead skin build up (aprocot scrub works great and is cheap).
