Piercings?

So I would like to get another piercing but because of where I work we have to take all piercings out so I%26#039;m wondering would it close up but just having it for 8 hours?
Piercings?
you could allways a retainer there clear and u cant see them
Piercings?
u could use a clear retainer there, i think itz called a retainer. But if u leave it just open for 8 hours, most likely, it%26#039;ll close.
Reply:I would also recommend using a retainer. You can get them at many stores. I have even seen them at Wal-Mart. This way you can be sure that it doesn%26#039;t close up on you. A new piercing would probably close in that time period. I hope this helps. Good Luck !
Reply:When you get another piercing they should also give you an antibiotic so you could put on your piercing so it wont close up.
Reply:If you get a new piercing and take it out before it completely heals, it will close up. Even if it%26#039;s in about 30 minutes, it will start and will hurt like crazy when you go to put the ring back in. Retainers aren%26#039;t really a good idea for fresh piercings, either, because they%26#039;re prone to germs and they%26#039;re plastic, so I%26#039;ve never used one. You could try it, though! Good luck!
Reply:A new piercing will close up in eight hours. If you get a new piercing you need to allow it the full six to eight weeks to heal before you even think about taking it out or changing the jewelry back and forth from a retainer to standard jewelry. An antibiotic has nothing to do with your piercing closing up. there is some new jewelry out made of PTFE plastic sometimes called bioplast. This is a clear flexible material that some piercers are using for starter jewelry i have a post for my lip that the actual post is clear but the gem on the end just pops in and out, something like that would be a good option for healing because you can keep the post in and just pop the gem off for work then it would be like wearing a retainer.
Reply:You can%26#039;t take a new piercing out for months, the jewelry has to stay in. And yes, it would close in 8 hours. You can be pierced with a retainer, as long as it is not a plastic retainer.
