If you get a lip ring, how long can you take it out for?

I wanted to get a single lip ring on my bottom lip, to the left.


I want to get it done early summer so it can heal before school [since i%26#039;m not supposed to have it in at school].


Summer is about 2 - 2 1/2 months long for me.


Would i be able to take it out during school hours without it closing up? [Approximately 6 hours a day.]


Or does it depend on the person?

Reply:i got da same peircing ur lip should heal within da 2 months of summer but wit any facial peircing u cant take it out for more den like two hours cuz it will close back up but juss do wat i do since my dad doesnt noe about ma lip ring wenever im around him for a couple hours i take it out but i keep my lip ring in my pocket n ery like 40 mins to an hour i juss stick my ring back in my lip real quick n take it back out juss to make sure i keep the hole open its been workin for me for 5 months so im sure it%26#039;ll work for u so wen u in class make sure u got ur ring in ur pocket n juss put da ring in da hole real quick to keep it open. hope i helped
